Jet mass and substructure of inclusive jets in TeV collisions with the ATLAS experiment
Abstract
CERN-LHC. Measurements of the structure of inclusive jets in proton-proton collisions at a centre of mass energy of 7 TeV. The data, collected during 2010, have an integrated luminosity of 35 pb-1 and are corrected for detector efficiency and resolution and in order to reduce pile-up effects the events are required to have a single primary vertex. Measurements are made using two jet algorithms, anti-kT jets with R=1.0 and Cambridge-Aachen jets with R=1.2, with distributions of jet mass, kT splitting scales and N-subjettiness variables being presented. See the text of the paper for more details of these variables.
