Title: Liquid-bearing clouds 5-day back-trajectories

Abstract

The data set contains 5-day back-trajectory calculations for cloud layers detected in the MOSAiC sounding data set. The calculations were performed by HYSPLIT informed by ERA5. In addition to trajectory coordinates and altitudes, the data set includes diagnostic and atmospheric state variables along the trajectories as well as trajectory cluster numbers associated with each airmass per Silber and Shupe,2022.
