Distributed temperature-sensing data collected using a Silixa-XT DTS and 50/125 MM fiber. Data are calibrated using two water baths at the surface and an iMet aloft at the end of the fiber and tether. The data are then assigned an altitude for the TBS flight. Data collected prior to Febuary 11, 2020 were collected at the SGP Central Facility (CF). Data from 2/11/20 were collected with a Sensornet Oryx DTS at the E9 site, not at the CF. SGP Merged Aerosol Size Distribution (CPC+SMPS+APS)

Five years (2009-2013) of data from three instruments at the SGP site were merged in order to create a new aerosol size distribution dataset. Data from the scanning mobility particle sizer (SMPS), part of the TDMA system, were combined with size distribution data from the aerodynamic particle sizer (APS). The merged size distribution from those two instruments spanned the diameter (mobility) size range between ~12 nm and ~14 μm with 215 bins (Collins 2010). The FROST provides chemical analysis of four time-resolved sorbent samples on a LECO GCxGC Bench Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer, using a Gerstel MPS Thermal Desorption System. Samples collected via FROST can be analyzed on one of two Sandia National Laboratories' instruments. One instrument will provide ultra-high mass spectrometer resolution (up to four decimal points or m/z data) and can be used for identification of true unknowns. Data can include suspected formulas of species not included in any current mass spectra database. This instrument also has a low limit of detection of known species (tens of femtogram range).
