Abstract

This data package contains stomatal response to assimilation (m) curves of sunlit canopy leaves of species Populus deltoides Bartr. x Populus nigra L. (hybrid poplar). The trees were grown in pots at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton NY, USA, and measurements made using a Licor 6800 portable photosynthesis system. Leaf mass per area (LMA) is included for each measured leaf. The files included in this data package are 2 processed data files (csv) and 6 metadata files (csv), a methods protocol description (pdf) and the complete instrument output (32 xlsx files). File level metadata details are provided in NGT0169.csv in this package.

Stomatal response of three Arctic plant species, Seward Peninsula, Alaska, 2022

Stomatal response to changing irradiance measurements on three common tussock tundra shrub species. Data were collected in 2022 from two sites on the Seward Peninsula, Kougarok Mile 64 and Teller Mile 27. Measurements were made with LI-COR LI-6800 gas exchange systems using a slow curve light response method. Light curve observations enable the estimation of stomatal slope and intercept parameters, g1 and g0. Photosynthetic response to irradiance (AQ), CO2 (ACi) and stomatal response to irradiance measurements on two pine species common to the southeast United States, long leaf pine, Pinus palustris Mill., and loblolly pine, Pinus taeda L.. Data were collected in June 2023 within the Oakmulgee District of the Talladega National Forest in west-central Alabama at the NEON site (TALL).
