Title: Materials Data on LiMg2Cd by Materials Project

Abstract

LiMg2Cd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiMg2Cd ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Both Li–Mg bond lengths are 2.99 Å. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Cd atom. The Mg–Cd bond length is 3.02 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
