Materials Data on Na2HgSb by Materials Project
Abstract
Na2HgSb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Na2HgSb ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Na1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hg1+ and one Sb3- atom. The Na–Hg bond length is 3.16 Å. The Na–Sb bond length is 2.94 Å. Hg1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Na1+ atoms. Sb3- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Na1+ atoms.
