Title: Materials Data on CrAu4 by Materials Project

Abstract

Au4Cr crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cr2+ is bonded to twelve equivalent Au+0.50- atoms to form a mixture of edge and face-sharing CrAu12 cuboctahedra. There are eight shorter (2.90 Å) and four longer (2.92 Å) Cr–Au bond lengths. Au+0.50- is bonded to three equivalent Cr2+ atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing AuCr3 cuboctahedra.
