Title: Materials Data on K by Materials Project

Abstract

K is Magnesium structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. K is bonded to twelve equivalent K atoms to form a mixture of face, edge, and corner-sharing KK12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (4.68 Å) and six longer (4.76 Å) K–K bond lengths.
