Materials Data on Pd3N by Materials Project
Abstract
Pd3N is Upper Bainite-like structured and crystallizes in the trigonal R-3c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pd is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to two equivalent N atoms. Both Pd–N bond lengths are 2.09 Å. N is bonded to six equivalent Pd atoms to form corner-sharing NPd6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 48°.
