Materials Data on LiMg2Cu by Materials Project
Abstract
LiMg2Cu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiMg2Cu ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Both Li–Mg bond lengths are 2.92 Å. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Cu atom. The Mg–Cu bond length is 2.59 Å. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
