Materials Data on Y2CdIn by Materials Project
Abstract
Y2CdIn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2CdIn ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one In atom. The Y–Cd bond length is 3.20 Å. The Y–In bond length is 3.01 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. In is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
