2002-2015 Texas Regional Travel Surveys

From 2002-2015, multiple household travel surveys were conducted across Texas in Abilene, Austin, Bryan-College Station, Corpus Christi, El Paso, Houston/Galveston, Laredo, Midland/Odessa, Rio Grande Valley, San Angelo, San Antonio, Texarkana, Tyler/Longview, and Wichita Falls. In coordination with the Texas Transportation Institute, the Texas Department of Transportation conducted the surveys. The travel surveys incorporated a global positioning system technology-based travel diary component.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) has developed the Automatic Building Energy Modeling (AutoBEM) software suite to process multiple types of data, extract building-specific descriptors, generate building energy models, and simulate them on High Performance Computing (HPC) resources. 2014-2015 Puget Sound Regional Travel Study

Dataset Team, TSDC

The 2014-2015 Puget Sound Regional Travel Study collected information about household and individual travel patterns for residents throughout a four-county region in Washington State. Study results were used to update the region's travel and land-use models and to calibrate local traffic and travel models. The study also helped the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) and its regional partners develop plans that accommodate the diverse travel needs and preferences of residents. The Resource Systems Group administered the study on behalf of PSRC. Global positioning system (GPS)-equipped smartphones were used to provide data pertaining to the daily travel of 547 individual participants.more »« less
