Abstract

This hydro-meteorological data set for the continental United States was constructed for use in climate studies. The data were taken from USGS daily streamflow data and NOAA daily climatological data for precipitation, maximum and minimum temperature. The data set contains data from 1009 streamflow stations and 1036 precipitation/temperature stations distributed across the continental U.S. (see Wallis, et al. (1991) for station distribution).

Previous attempts to validate general circulation model simulations of land surface hydrology have often been limited by the absence of systematic historical data, especially for runoff, precipitation, and temperature. CHARMS Combined Data Set

These multi-wavelength lidar data were collected during the Combined HSRL and Raman lidar Measurement Study (CHARMS) IOP that occurred during July through September 2015 at SGP. During CHARMS the University of Wisconsin HSRL was located at SGP and acquired aerosol backscatter profiles at 532 nm and 1064 nm and aerosol backscatter, extinction, and depolarization profiles at 532 nm.
