Abstract

This database provides complete bibliographic citations (plus abstracts and keywords, when available) for more than 2700 references published between 1990 and 1999 on the direct effects of elevated atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) on vegetation, ecosystems, their components and interactions. This bibliography is an update to Direct Effects of Atmospheric CO2 Enrichment on Plants and Ecosystems: An Updated Bibliographic Data Base (ORNL/CDIAC-70), edited by Boyd R. Strain and Jennifer D. Cure, which covered literature from 1980 to 1994. This bibliography was developed to support the Carbon Dioxide Meta-Analysis Project (CO2MAP) at The Ohio State University, but was designed to be useful for a wide variety of purposes related to the effects of elevated CO2 on vegetation and ecosystems.For access to the data files, click this link to the CDIAC data transition website: http://cdiac.ess-dive.lbl.gov/epubs/cdiac/cdiac129/cdiac129.html

Literature synthesis and modelling data of terrestrial ecosystem responses to increasing atmospheric CO2

These data were collected in support of the cited publication, Walker et al. (Accepted) New Phytologist. The data are based on a literature survey and modelling using the Multi-Assumption Architecture and Testbed (MAAT). The literature survey data were extracted from key publications in the area of terrestrial ecosystem CO2 responses, and changes in terrestrial carbon storage. Data were digitised from tables, figures, and in the text of published manuscripts. All of these manuscripts are cited in the main text of Walker et al. (Accepted).
