Maui Gravity and Soil Gas Surveys

Contains a ground-based gravity survey of South Maui and a series of soil CO2 flux and temperature surveys encompassing Maui and the Big Island. The gravity survey was collected from approximately 284 km2 and consisted of 400 gravity stations with 400 m spacing. Locations were derived with full DGPS. Station and line location, Complete Bouger Anomaly, first vertical derivative and horizontal gradient maps were calculated and produced. AmeriFlux US-SuM Maui Sugarcane Middle

This is the AmeriFlux version of the carbon flux data for the site US-SuM Maui Sugarcane Middle. Site Description - Continuous, irrigated, sugarcane cultivation for >100 years. Practice is to grow plant sugarcane for 2 years, drydown, burn leaves, harvest cane, and then till and replant very shortly after harvest. Site differs from Sugarcane Windy and Sugarcane Lee/sheltered in soil and meteorology.

Wind profiles from ground-based Galion lidar at the NANT site were calculated for each 6-beam profiling scan (one point every ~20 seconds). The wind speed retrieval uses the Sathe et al., 2015, paper in the references.
