Title: Materials Data on AcIn3 by Materials Project

Abstract

AcIn3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ac is bonded to twelve equivalent In atoms to form a mixture of distorted face and corner-sharing AcIn12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (3.49 Å) and six longer (3.61 Å) Ac–In bond lengths. In is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ac and six equivalent In atoms. There are four shorter (3.22 Å) and two longer (3.23 Å) In–In bond lengths.
