Materials Data on SrPd2 by Materials Project
Abstract
Pd2Sr is Cubic Laves structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Pd atoms. All Sr–Pd bond lengths are 3.29 Å. Pd is bonded to six equivalent Sr and six equivalent Pd atoms to form a mixture of face, edge, and corner-sharing PdSr6Pd6 cuboctahedra. All Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.81 Å.
