Title: Materials Data on UAu2 by Materials Project

Abstract

UAu2 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to two equivalent U and twelve equivalent Au atoms. Both U–U bond lengths are 3.02 Å. All U–Au bond lengths are 3.20 Å. Au is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U and five equivalent Au atoms. There are three shorter (2.82 Å) and two longer (3.02 Å) Au–Au bond lengths.
