Landscape topography largely influences the rate of CO2 versus CH4 emissions from wet tropical forest soils. This dataset contains soil chamber fluxes of CO2 and CH4 from 2016 (April 5 through July 18) across a catena in the Luquillo Experimental Forest, Puerto Rico. The vegetation community plots were established in 2014 and designated to be undisturbed and reserved for long-term sampling.
