Title: Materials Data on V17Ge31 by Materials Project

Abstract

V17Ge31 crystallizes in the tetragonal P-4n2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are eighteen inequivalent V sites. In the first V site, V is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.54–2.66 Å. In the second V site, V is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.52–2.72 Å. In the third V site, V is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.55–2.65 Å. In the fourth V site, V is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.52–2.74 Å. In the fifth V site, V is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.51–2.75 Å. In the sixth V site, V is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.51–2.79 Å. In the tenth V site, V is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six Ge atoms. There are four shorter (2.50 Å) and two longer (2.77 Å) V–Ge bond lengths. In the eleventh V site, V is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.54–2.66 Å. In the twelfth V site, V is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.57–2.64 Å. In the thirteenth V site, V is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six Ge atoms. There are a spread of V–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.50–2.76 Å.
