Title: Materials Data on Dy3Ga by Materials Project

Abstract

Dy3Ga is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded to eight equivalent Dy and four equivalent Ga atoms to form distorted DyDy8Ga4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent DyDy8Ga4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent GaDy12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent DyDy8Ga4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent GaDy12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent DyDy8Ga4 cuboctahedra. All Dy–Dy bond lengths are 3.34 Å. All Dy–Ga bond lengths are 3.34 Å. Ga is bonded to twelve equivalent Dy atoms to form GaDy12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent GaDy12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent DyDy8Ga4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent GaDy12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent DyDy8Ga4 cuboctahedra.
