Title: Materials Data on LiCd by Materials Project

Abstract

LiCd is Zintl Phase structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of two LiCd frameworks. Li is bonded to four equivalent Cd atoms to form distorted corner-sharing LiCd4 tetrahedra. All Li–Cd bond lengths are 2.92 Å. Cd is bonded to four equivalent Li atoms to form distorted corner-sharing CdLi4 tetrahedra.
