Materials Data on CeZn2 by Materials Project
Abstract
Zn2Ce crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Zn bond distances ranging from 3.10–3.25 Å. Zn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and four equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Zn–Zn bond distances ranging from 2.66–2.96 Å.
