Title: Materials Data on La2CdRh2 by Materials Project

Abstract

La2Rh2Cd crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mbm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. La is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Rh and four equivalent Cd atoms. There are two shorter (2.92 Å) and four longer (3.08 Å) La–Rh bond lengths. All La–Cd bond lengths are 3.51 Å. Rh is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to six equivalent La and two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Rh–Cd bond lengths are 3.03 Å. Cd is bonded to eight equivalent La and four equivalent Rh atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and face-sharing CdLa8Rh4 cuboctahedra.
