This HVAC + Thermal Energy Storage Design Tool is intended as an engineering design tool for determining the necessary parameters in designing a phase change composite based thermal energy storage module(s). The HVAC + Thermal Energy Storage Design Tool allows input of engineering and thermodynamic quantities, such as physical dimensions, thermal quantities (e.g. heat capacity and conductivity), heat transfer fluid properties and layout/circuiting of heat exchange tubes within a phase change composite.
