Fuel metering systems for dry low emission gas turbine engines

Conference ·
OSTI ID:98701
The purpose of this paper is to describe the basic concept of the dry low emission (DLE) and dry low NO{sub x} (DLN) aeroderivative gas turbines and the fuel control systems utilized by these engines. A brief background of DLE engine benefits and concepts will be discussed with reference to the increased demands to the fuel delivery system. Initial DLE fuel metering concepts being provided by Woodward Governor Company will be presented along with future fuel metering concepts and their potential benefits.
