Petascale computing helps disentangle the nuclear puzzle. The goal of the UNEDF collaboration is to provide a comprehensive description of all nuclei and their reactions based on the most accurate knowledge of the nuclear interaction, the most reliable theoretical approaches, and the massive use of the computer power.
