While players in automation are becoming more aware computer systems are vulnerable to cyber attack, especially those controlling our nation’s critical infrastructure, some don’t always implement control system security procedures and devices consistently and effectively. In response, the Department of Homeland Security National Cyber Security Division established the Control Systems Security Center at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) to help industry and government improve security in those control systems.
