This paper discusses the relationship between flexibility and efficiency in the design of adhesive-bonded composite postbuckled skin-to-stiffener joints. By introducing joint flexibility parameters and using a numerical and experimental parametric study, the effect of joint flexibility on the joint efficiency is examined. It is found that flexible joints provide higher joint efficiency.
