The Elementary Particle Physics 2010 committee (EPP2010) was formed with 22 members in autumn 2004. The committee met in Washington, DC in Fall 2004, once in Menlo Park, CA in Winter 2005, Batavia, IL in Spring 2005, Ithaca, NY in Summer 2005, and twice again in Washington, DC on December 6, 2005 and January 23, 2006 to discuss its work. A subgroup of the committee visited Japan in Summer 2005 and Switzerland in Fall 2005 as well. The committee’s final report was publicly released in April 2006 at a public press conference; the report received significant national and international media attention. Members of the committee provided more than 45 courtesy briefings to the public and policy-makers.
