A gravity-removable suspended fuel core for passive coolability of a reactor

A cooling system in which a hot nonstationary fuel pellet core is transported via gravity to a perpetually cooled subcritical catchment is modeled. The core fuel mass is suspended by the upward flowing coolant, similar to the concept in fluidized bed reactors.
