The 2p3 triply excited hollow resonance of lithium: Measurementand calculation of partial cross sections and angular behaviour

Journal Article · · Journal of Physics B-Atomic Molecular & Optical Physics
OSTI ID:877612

We have measured the partial cross sections and angle-resolved energy dependence of the electrons emitted over the energy range of the triply-excited 2p/sup 3 2/P hollow lithium resonance. We have also calculated the B-behavior using the R-matrix methodology. Experimental and theoretical results are in good agreement and show deep minima in the 1s2p /sup 1,3/P ionic channels.
