The study, conducted by Power Tech Associates, was funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. The report shows the results of a feasibility study conducted to show the need for continued large scale lignite-fired power generation development at the Mae Moh mine. The study covers environmental concerns including use and disposal of low grade lignite and long term impact on the surrounding land and water. Also included in the report is a detailed financial study covering project and debt financing. This is Volume 2 of the study.
