Double Spin Asymmetries and Nucleon Structure at CLAS

Conference ·
OSTI ID:838388

Inclusive and exclusive double spin asymmetries have been measured in Hall B at Jefferson Lab using the CLAS spectrometer. The data cover the resonance region for 0.15 < Q2 < 1.5 GeV2. They were taken using longitudinally polarized electron beams of 2.6 and 4.3 GeV and longitudinally polarized 15NH3 and 15ND3 targets. The data provide information on the helicity amplitudes of specific resonances as well as on the Q2-evolution of the generalized Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn Sum Rule.
