SELECTED CHARM PHYSICS RESULTS FROM BABAR

A search is performed for mixing and CP violation in D{sup 0} decays from a 57 fb{sup -1} dataset acquired by the Babar experiment near the Upsilon(4S). The time-dependence is measured of wrong-sign decays D{sup 0} --> K{sup +} {pi}{sup -} and also the lifetime ratios {tau}(D{sup 0} --> K{sup -}{pi}{sup +})/{tau}(D{sup 0} --> K{sup -}K{sup +}) and {tau}(D{sup 0} --> K{sup -}{pi}{sup +})/{tau}(D{sup 0} --> {pi}{sup -}{pi}{sup +}). For the decays D{sup 0} --> K{sub s}{sup 0}K{sup {+-}}{pi}{sup -} and D{sup 0} --> K{sub s}{sup 0}K{sup +}K{sup -}, preliminary measurements are presented of their branching fractions relative to that of D{sup 0} --> K{sub s}{sup 0}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -}, together with an analysis of their Dalitz plot distributions.
