Energy education workshop handbook. A guide to materials by the Project for an Energy-Enriched Curriculum
- ed.
The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) has, with support from the Department of Energy (DOE) and with the help of many teachers from all over the country, built up a wide offering on energy/environment/economics issues. These materials are designed to fit into the existing curriculum and to enable teachers to accomplish traditional tasks and teach about these important problems at the same time. It is anticipated that workshop leaders will use this handbook to help teachers in all grade levels and teaching areas take on the crucial task of preparing a generation of students for the great transition the world must make from inexpensive and abundant fuels to new forms of, and attitudes about, energy.
