Measurements of CP-violating Asymmetries and Branching Fractions in B Meson Decays to eta' K

The authors present measurements of the branching fractions of the decays B{sup +} {yields} {eta}{prime}K{sup +} and B{sup 0} {yields} {eta}{prime}K{sup 0}. For B{sup 0} {yields} {eta}{prime}K{sub S}{sup 0} they also measure the time dependent CP-violation parameters S{sub {eta}{prime}K{sub S}{sup 0}} and C{sub {eta}{prime}K{sub S}{sup 0}}, and for B{sup +} {yields} {eta}{prime}K{sup +} the time-integrated charge asymmetry {Alpha}{sub ch}. The data sample corresponds to 88.9 million B{bar B} pairs produced by e{sup +}e{sup -} annihilation at the {Upsilon}(4S). The results are {Beta}(B{sup +} {yields} {eta}{prime}K{sup +}) = (76.9 {+-} 3.5 {+-} 4.4) x 10{sup -6}, {Beta}(B{sup 0} {yields} {eta}{prime}K{sup 0}) = (55.4 {+-} 5.2 {+-} 4.0) x 10{sup -6}, S{sub {eta}{prime}K{sub S}{sup 0}} = 0.02 {+-} 0.34 {+-} 0.03, C{sub {eta}{prime}K{sub S}{sup 0}} = 0.10 {+-} 0.22 {+-} 0.03, and {Alpha}{sub ch} = 0.037 {+-} 0.045 {+-} 0.011.
