The dynamics of collisions of polarized e{sup +}e{sup {minus}} beams at energies and luminosities typical of the next-generation linear e{sup +}e{sup {minus}} collider VLEPP is discussed. It is demonstrated that, during their motion in the incident-bunch fields, the spins of electrons and positrons, initially polarized in a particular direction, are depolarized. Reliable data on the number of hadronic and leptonic events lead to an estimate of the magnitude of the depolarization effect at the level of a few percent. Because this value is comparable with the systematic and statistical errors expected in experiments using future e{sup +}e{sup {minus}} colliders, depolarization effects of this kind must be taken into account in experiments with polarized e{sup +}e{sup {minus}} beams. 12 refs., 2 tabs.
