Stabilization of Underground Solvent Storage Tanks

The Old Solvent Tanks (OSTs) are located at the Old Radioactive Waste Burial Ground (ORWBG), at the Savannah River Site. The ORWBG is part of the central disposal area for solid radioactive waste at SRS known at the Burial Ground Complex. The ORWBG is being closed under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act. As part of this closure, the OST's are being stabilized as an Interim Remedial Action before final closure of the site.
