Nuclear effects accompanying bremsstrahlung from high-energy muons are studied. It is shown that the inclusion of the elastic nuclear form factor reduces the bremsstrahlung cross section by 10-15% if an atom with Z {approx_gt} 10 serves as a target. The contribution from excitations of atomic and nuclear levels, as well as from excitations of individual intranuclear nucleons, to the bremsstrahlung cross section is calculated, and it is shown that the resulting contribution of these inelastic processes to the cross section does not compensate the coherent effect of the elastic form factor. 20 refs., 4 figs.
