Fusion Barrier Distribution in {sup 9}Be+{sup 209}Bi

The fusion barrier distribution obtained for the system {sup 9}Be+{sup 209}Bi from fusion and elastic scattering cross sections do not show any specific signature of the {sup 9}Be breakup process which is however significant above the Coulomb barrier.
