The 16th Advanced ICFA Beam Dynamics Workshop on Nonlinear and Collective Phenomena in Beam Dynamics was held in Arcidosso, Italy, September 1-5, 1998. The workshop opened with three invited lectures on subjects discussed in working groups. Working groups were organized on the following topics: (1) single particle nonlinear dynamics (2) creation and manipulation of high phase density beams and (3) physics of and physics with high energy density beams. A coordinator was designated for each working group who at the end of the workshop gave a summary on results to all participants. Fifty six physicists participated in the workshop.
