The reactor sharing grant (DE-FG06-95NE38129) was awarded to Ralph D. Clovis and the College of Engineering at Idaho State University for the purpose of sharing Idaho State University’s Nuclear Engineering Laboratory as an educating facility for neutron activation, analysis, irradiation, high school services program, and reactor operator training. Salaries totaling $3854.98 were paid to one student and one staff member over the course of the grant. There were several dozen tours of elementary and secondary school children which required student and staff services. Also, several of our students and staff were received reactor operator training and required reactor facility oversight for this evolution.
