Charmed baryons and spectroscopy at CLEO II

The author discusses charmed baryon physics and spectroscopy which has been studied at CLEO II. Discussed are charmed baryon studies at CESR, including absolute decay rates for {Lambda}{sub c}, {Xi}{sub c}{sup +}, and {Xi}{sub c}{sup 0}, inclusive rates for {Lambda}{sub c}{yields}{Lambda}+X, studies of exchange in {Lambda} and {Xi} decays, studies of c {yields} s transitions in baryons, and production in e{sup +}e{sup {minus}} collisions. Also discussed are meson spectroscopy results, including precision splittings in the D and D{sup *} system, and mass measurements in the excited D meson family. Also discussed are charmed baryon spectroscopy at CLEO II, including masses and widths of {Sigma}{sub c} and {Lambda}{sub c} states.
