Comment on direct lepton production in proton-nucleon collisions

A unified description is given of all available data on direct lepton production in proton-nucleon collisions. It is shown that the lepton cross sections exhibit a simple scaling behavior when expressed in terms of the radial variable, x/subR/. A striking similarity is noted between the behavior of the lepton and negative kaon production cross sections. (AIP)
