Isotopic abundances in interstellar carbon monosulfide

Measurements of relative abundances of the rare isotopic species /sup 13/C/sup 32/S and /sup 12/C/sup 34/S have been made by means of their 2 mm rotational line emission in five dense interstellar clouds. The abundance ratio /sup 13/C/sup 32/S shows a significant source source-to-source variation. Measurements of /sup 12/C/sup 33/S in two of the five clouds are consistent with a relative /sup 33/S//sup 34/S abundance equal to the terrestrial value. (AIP)
