Gallium-67 uptake by a malignant fibrous histocytoma: case report. [/sup 99m/Tc tracer technique]

Avid /sup 67/Ga-citrate uptake was observed in a malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the mediastinum. The relationship of the tumor to the heart and liver was shown by /sup 99m/Tc-sulfur colloid liver-spleen scanning and /sup 99m/Tc-pertechnetate angiography performed in conjunction with a /sup 67/Ga-citrate whole-body scan. This is the first report of /sup 67/Ga-citrate uptake by this unusual tumor.
