Intrinsic thermocouple measurement errors

An approximate analytical model is given for the transient response of an intrinsic thermocouple. Thermocouple response charts are developed. The model is used with numerical convolution and deconvolution to estimate and correct for transient temperature measurement errors. The methods are illustrated by example applications.
