Color holographic interferogram

The possibility of obtaining focused images of colored interference patterns using holography is considered. For this purpose an object beam with the first and second exposures linearly polarized in mutually perpendicular directions is proposed. As a result of this one can obtain in the image reconstructed with white light, two similar systems of interference fringes, colored with different colors and shifted with respect to one another by half of a fringe width. When the systems are combined colored interference fringes are formed. The results of the theory are confirmed experimentally.
