Moisture in samples of coal and coke is determined by measuring the loss in weight of the sample when heated under rigidly controlled conditions of temperature, time, atmosphere, sample weight, and equipment specifications. The results of the determination of moisture can be used for calculating other analytical results to a dry basis. (BLM)
